Booze by Design - Oakshire Hazy IPA

Heavy citrus, orange juice notes and white raisins (or is it dried apricots?). A sweetness from the malt (due to the oats and wheat) but not really bready. The bitterness comes in at the end but not from any one distinct hop. This one finishes a little more bitter than a lot of Hazy IPAs these days. Overall a pretty good beer but with the higher price tag of this six pack it wouldn’t be my weekly go to amongst all the other solid IPA’s out there.

Oakshire brewing is located in Eugene, Oregon and makes a solid lineup of beers that compete well with a lot of the breweries in Oregon. The can design is bright, retro and eye catching.
